Hengqin New District is an island in Zhuhai City. It is located in the south of Zhuhai City and on the west side of the Pearl River Estuary. It is composed of Da Hengqin Island and Little Hengqin Island, just like two guqins across the blue waves of the South China Sea. It is adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, and is at the core of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is a place where mainland China connects the land bridges of Hong Kong and Macao. In 2015, Hengqin New District became one of the three major free trade zones in Guangdong Province, and was the intersection of "one country, two systems" and the junction of "internal and external radiation".

The Zhuhai Hengqin Bridge was completed and opened to traffic in 1999 and is the only "bridge" connecting Zhuhai and Hengqin. The main bridge of Hengqin Bridge is a 2-hole, 120-meter-span single-tower double-cable cable-stayed concrete cable-stayed bridge, with a guide bridge of 25 meters and 40 meters simply supported prestressed concrete T-beam, with 44 holes and 1185 meters. The bridge is 1425 meters long and 31 meters wide. It has 6 lanes in both directions, a 2-meter-wide partition in the middle, and a 2-meter-wide sidewalk on both sides.

We should not blindly pursue a certain light expression method, but should determine the performance method and the lighting equipment used based on the specific environment, the expression theme and the actual economic ability.

It includes both innovation in creative concepts and innovation in technical means, actively using new processes, new materials, and new light sources, especially the application of high-tech to improve the technological type of landscape lighting facilities.

1. Coordinate the relationship between service life, maintenance and management costs and one-time investment, so that the lighting landscape planning is economical and reasonable;

2. Ensure the illumination level required for functions and activities in each area to meet visual needs; at the same time, take into account the convenience of lighting fixtures and maintenance.

5. Safety and environmental protection principles

1. The safety principles of lighting design include the safety of the lighting system itself and the role of the lighting environment in promoting social security;

2. Make full use of high technology, develop new efficient and energy-saving lighting technologies, comprehensively consider environmental factors, and choose economical, practical and energy-saving light sources;

3. Reasonably select the installation location of the lamp to maximize the lighting efficiency; control glare and prevent light pollution.
